A blog for us cold weather Upstate NY Cafe guys. Your not the only one crouched down working on your bike in February, with the smallest of electric heaters blowing on your frozen fingers!
Join the group, bench race, find parts, get help and meet some new riding buddies.

Project bike progress
Go ahead, let's hear about your headaches and accomplishments!
I'm working on a 78 gl1000. I know not the normal cafe but just couldn't help myself to make it into one. I should have it done in about a week and will post a picture of it when done. Thanks for starting this blog. Hopefully we can all get together and do some rides.
I'm putting the finishing touches on a 78 gl1000. I know its not the normal cafe but I could not help myself. If I could figure out how to post a photo on here I would put one up. Anyway thanks for starting this blog.
The Cafe' Gods are going to kill me! I think I just did the dumbest thing ever! I'll be bringing home a 1981 Kawasaki CSR 1000. 92 HP, 511 lbs, what was I thinking?! It's like trying to turn a Rhino into a Cheetah! That's going to be one very fat cat. I better stock up on the cutting wheels, sawzall blades and frosty brews for this one! Wait until you see the pix of this thing! Someone got all woodstock on the paint job.

ReplyDeleteSounds cool Riley, I don't think there is a "normal" cafe bike. What ever you can Strip, Massage, and Ride Hard fits the bill!
