CLUB HAS REACHED A CROSS ROAD

Okay, here's the deal. Since we're still a very new group, we have some bugs to iron out and now is the time.

We have enough people who want to attend events that we need to
A) Start charging a membership fee so we can pay for a place to have organized events.
B) Keep it free and find a "Pay For" establishment to meet to avoid SNAFU's like we just had.
C) Leave it "AS-IS" and have members leave contact info so in the event of changes they can be contacted.

Here's my thoughts on all.
A) This would help the club create real events. But, I think this may drive folks away, we all try to do things as inexpensively as possible with our bikes so why charge for a membership
B) This is a good alternative, but again, if someone doesn't have the $$ to go out and eat and drink that night it might also drive them away. This might be good as a PLAN B to our normal meetings.
C) Good idea, BUT will people provide contact info to a bunch of folks they don't know?
