New Addition to the Family
1980 Yamaha 650 Maxim. Very complete. needs tires (don't they all) throttle cable, gotta trash the bars seat, rear fender. Might swap out the tank at some point
I think I must have a special bike here, the mirror is magical, it looks in the future and tells me where I'll be going. I knew Yamaha was way ahead of their time.
UH OH my son wants to get his MC license. I think I'm doomed. This might actually be a good starter bike for him. Although I think he still wants a scooter

ReplyDeleteYeah, make sure you keep the "Flux Capacitor" fully charged. Wouldn't want to get trapped in the future ;P

ReplyDeleteI had one of those. I'm looking for another. This time I want to turn it into a cafe racer.
ReplyDeleteSame here, although I might go the street track route with it, since it's front end is a bit long.
ReplyDeleteJust picked up a brand new tire for the front and a throttle cable, might get those on tonight
