A few more shots of the project. Sorting out the exhaust mounts, going to stay with the stock CB headers but using CB450 mufflers. Still working through the wiring (oy vey) The obligatory checker pattern has been installed. Have to mount the Honda emblems, and fab a mount for the CT90 headlight with built in 70 mph speedo. I think I'll use the old handle bar mounts and runs some curved rod down to the headlight sides, as regular headlight ears are too wide for the skinny headlight
The Vortex rearsets will go on after the pipes get mounted. Have carb kits coming for the stock carbs
looks sick! your seat looks almost as uncomfortable as mine on the gt550! Think i can get some fancy checkers for my tank and seat?
ReplyDeleteAnd it's running! Poked at the starter button and started right up. Although I didn't have the pipes bolted on so they blew right off!
